olumbia University Fertility Center has opened a second practice location in White Plains, NY to complement its midtown Manhattan practice. Located at 244 Westchester Avenue, the new location features a full suite of fertility services, including fertility screening and diagnosis, semen analysis, intrauterine insemination, oncofertility services, preimplantation genetic testing, daily monitoring for IUI and IVF cycles, and more. Like the team’s midtown Manhattan practice site, the new location offers patients boutique-level personalized care, the outstanding outcomes of a world-class laboratory, and innovative treatments that come from being at a top-tier academic program.

Rachel McConnell, MD, Paula Brady, MD, Roger Lobo, MD and Priyanka Ghosh, MD see patients at the new location, along with care teams providing full fertility support services. The new location bolsters the department’s mission to expand crucial access to cutting-edge treatments for infertility within this region.

What sets Columbia University Fertility Center apart is the heart of our people and our commitment to helping individuals and couples through often difficult times.

“It’s been two very tough years for the whole world and certainly for New York, but when you think about what a fertility center is, it’s about life. It’s about the future. It’s about optimism and looking ahead and really bringing life and joy into the world,” said Zev Williams, MD, PhD, Director of Columbia University Fertility Center. “What sets Columbia University Fertility Center apart is the heart of our people and our commitment to helping individuals and couples through often difficult times. To be able to share our commitment and our passion with the community in White Plains is really special.”
Columbia Fertility previously operated a small practice in Columbia Ob/Gyn’s Scarsdale office, where patients could be seen a few days each week for fertility counseling and testing. The new practice site in White Plains offers a full suite of services including semen analysis with greatly expanded availability, offering the opportunity to reach more patients in the community.

“Bringing that ethos of what we have at Columbia Fertility’s midtown practice in Columbus Circle to Westchester in a much more expanded fashion than we’ve previously offered is absolutely fantastic for the families of White Plains and Westchester at large,” said Mary D’Alton, MD, Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYP/CUIMC. “I think the heart of a family is a mother, and we’re going to help give the opportunity for more mothers to grow their families to so many in Westchester.”
